How do I get to Harmonia Palace from Budapest Airport?

You have two easy options to reach us from Budapest Airport. You can take the public bus 100E to Kálvin Tér (one stop), and from there Harmonia Palace is just a 2-minute walk. The airport bus ticket costs approximately 2500 HUF.

Alternatively, you can take a direct taxi from the airport, which costs around 10800 HUF. The official taxi company at the airport is Főtaxi. No pre-reservation is needed. After leaving the arrival hall, you will find taxi booths where you can request a ride.

How do I get around the city?

Budapest is a very walkable city, and many of the main attractions are within easy walking distance. For longer journeys, the city offers an excellent and efficient public transport network, including metro, trams, and buses. Tickets can be conveniently purchased via the BudapestGO app.

For taxis, we recommend using trusted ride-hailing services such as Uber and Bolt.

Can you recommend good restaurants in Budapest?

We’ve got you covered — Budapest is our home, and we’re happy to share some of our favorite spots with you. Click Explore Budapest to discover a map of places to eat, drink, and shop, and to browse sightseeing experiences across the city.

I would rather stay in. Which food delivery companies do you suggest?

You can easily order from popular delivery apps like Wolt and Foodora. Kindly note that delivery drivers do not have access to the building. We therefore ask that you meet your courier at the main entrance to collect your order upon arrival.

Where is the closest grocery store/pharmacy/bank?

Due to the excellent location, all essential services are within a 2-minute walk.
Grocery store: Aldi (Üllői út 14, 1085 Budapest)
Pharmacy: Kálvin Pharmacy (Kálvin tér 12, 1085 Budapest)
Bank: OTP Bank (Kálvin tér 12-13, 1085 Budapest)

What is the currency in Hungary, and where can I exchange money?

The official currency in Hungary is the Hungarian Forint (HUF). Credit cards are widely accepted throughout Budapest. If your card provider supports favorable exchange rates through their app (such as Revolut or similar services), we recommend using that option for payments.

If you prefer, currency exchange can be done at local exchange offices. A nearby option is Kadaan Change on Lónyai Street, within walking distance of Harmonia Palace.
